Glasgow 24-hour casino
The Alea Casino launched its new regime on Monday (February 15th), informing its customers via a note in its website, the local Evening Times reports.
While this has caused some discontent among religious groups, a city council spokeswoman stated that a number of other venues in the region run these kinds of hours without problems. "Alea Casino received permission from [the] Glasgow Licensing Board to open on [a] 24-hour basis," she remarked. "This was done in accordance with the terms of the Gambling Act 2005." The structure is worth £25 million, with £10 million spent on construction and the remainder going on internal fixtures and fittings. It was recently reported by the Herald that the Glasgow Corinthian will be renovated, with a new multi-million-pound casino being added as part of the work |
